Churches for all Policy Statement
The Parochial
Church Council of Holy Trinity Church (Coventry), welcomes and supports
the principles of Churches for All, designed to enable people with
disabilities and older people to worship God in fellowship with other
members of their community.
We are committed to a
programme of
improvements to make Holy Trinity’s activities and facilities
more accessible to all people regardless of their disability or
disabling condition.
We will develop and monitor our
wider church
programme activities to endeavour to ensure that accessible venues are
always available for meetings held outside our main building.
We
will ensure that paid and volunteer staff are given training on
disability issues to enable such staff in their ministry to be fully
inclusive of everyone.
The person leading this
project is Tracey Drew who would be pleased to receive comments and
suggestions for improvements.
This policy was adopted
by the Parochial Church Council at its meeting on Monday 28th November
