Above the Chancel Arch there is an early 15th century painting called the "Doom Painting". After a lengthy wait its conservation has now started. Over the coming months we expect to be adding monthly reports and photos courtesy of  Granville & Burbidge (Conservation and Restoration).

The Victorians were aware of the painting as its outline can be seen in this painting, which dates from before the Victorian reordering.
