St Paul's Theological College, Kapsabet, West Kenya

Hennie Johnston, curate, spent a month at St. Paul's Theological College, in Kapsabet, West Kenya, in the summer of 2002. She returned to England with a Mission!  To raise enough money for accommodation to be built for the women students who at that time slept in two tiny rooms with no windows or proper ventilation.

Over a period of three years, with the help of the congregations of St John's College, Cranmer Hall, Durham & Holy Trinity Church, Coventry, she raised the money to build the new accommodation block.  Below are pictures from before and after.

As part of the fund raising we had a sponsored abseil. Click here for photos of the event.
