Hennie Johnston, curate, spent a month at St. Paul's Theological College, in Kapsabet, West Kenya, in the summer of 2002. She returned to England with a Mission! To raise enough money for accommodation to be built for the women students who at that time slept in two tiny rooms with no windows or proper ventilation.
Over a period of three years, with the help of the congregations of St John's College, Cranmer Hall, Durham & Holy Trinity Church, Coventry, she raised the money to build the new accommodation block. Below are pictures from before and after.
